Terms & conditions

Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TradePilot app and website ("the Service"), provided by TradePilot ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@trade-pilot.co.uk.

Who can use TradePilot

You must be at least 18 years old and running or setting up a business in the United Kingdom to use TradePilot. By using the Service you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of your business.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. TradePilot is designed for a single sole trader or business, with one login per business. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Subscriptions and payment

  • TradePilot is offered on a single plan at £20 per month, billed monthly, after any free trial.

  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

  • You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will run until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide part-month refunds unless required by law.

  • We may change our prices from time to time. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice before any change affects you.

Free trial

We may offer a free trial. At the end of the trial you can choose whether to continue on a paid subscription. We will make clear when a trial is ending and will not charge you without your agreement to subscribe.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of the quotes, invoices, customer details and other content you create in TradePilot ("Your Content"). You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process Your Content so we can provide the Service. You are responsible for making sure Your Content is accurate and that you have the right to store it. Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to use TradePilot lawfully and only for running your business. You must not misuse the Service, attempt to break its security, use it to send spam or unlawful material, or copy or resell it without our permission.

Tax and professional responsibility

TradePilot helps you keep records and prepare summaries, including mileage at HMRC approved rates and quarterly figures designed to help you get ready for Making Tax Digital. TradePilot is a record-keeping tool, not an accountant or tax adviser. You remain responsible for your own tax affairs and for submitting accurate returns, and we recommend you check important figures with a qualified professional.

Availability

We work hard to keep TradePilot available and reliable, but we cannot promise the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may occasionally need to carry out maintenance or make changes to features.

Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for loss caused by your own failure to keep records or backups. Because TradePilot stores your business data on your device with a backup you control, you are responsible for keeping access to that backup.

Ending your use of TradePilot

You can stop using TradePilot and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. If your account ends, you can export your data as described in the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date shown on this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless the law of the part of the UK where you live requires otherwise.
